Mindful brain breaks help students prepare to learn and focus throughout the entire school day

You will find everything you need to immediately engage and teach your students how to take a mindful brain break. The four mindful brain breaks included are Mindful Breathing, Mindful Movements, Mindful Energizer, and Mindful Yoga.

These Mindful Brain Breaks will help establish a pattern to focus, refocus, energize, or calm your students during the day.

  1. Mindful Breathing is one of the easiest ways to teach meditation. Breathing is a simple way to become aware of the body and mind by connecting with the inhale and exhale. This packet contains numerous types of breathing exercises that are simple enough for students of all ages to practice.
  2. Mindful Movements allow students to become aware of their bodies through movement and breathing. This packet contains multiple series of themed mindful movements based on the yoga philosophy of mind, body, and breath connection.
  3. Mindful Yoga gives kids an opportunity to take a heathy break from the hustle and bustle of the day. A Mindful yoga brain break allow kids to slow down, connect with themselves, and relax.

Children need breaks in order to stay engaged and focused with learning. Movement Energizer breaks encourage a physical & mental break from learning, as well as help students stay focused during shorter laser-focused learning periods. We find that students can focus better after recharging and by knowing there will be another opportunity to move.

  • These Mindfulness Brain Breaks are meant to be used anytime during the school day or class period. These quick and easy social emotional learning activities take as little as 5 minutes to implement. The biggest benefit is that they are adaptable to YOUR classroom! You may choose to implement Mindful Brain Breaks once a day or multiple times throughout the day.
