Digital Research – Lifecycles
We are beyond excited about our new 3-in-1 Independent Life Cycle Research for primary grades! Get your students doing independent research in minutes with zero prep!
This resource is compatible with Google Slides, SeeSaw and is printable. It’s pre-loaded onto Seesaw and Google Slides. We made it as simple as possible for you to implement with your students in just a few minutes.
Our students think they are playing a game when we assign them these activities! We’ve also heard from parents that older siblings want to participate in the activities during homework time. Check out the photos and videos below to see this resource in action.
Students start their Research by listening to, or reading a life cycle text.
Then, they respond to the text by completing a stages of the life cycle activity.
They watch and respond to a video.
Students study labeled diagrams, photographs, and learn new vocabulary words.
They choose from a variety of templates to write, record, or draw about what they learned.
They take a short quiz that is submitted via Seesaw or Google Forms.
Here’s a screen shot straight from a Seesaw activity I assigned about the Life Cycle of Frogs Research. You can easily see which students handed in the assignment and who did not. This would work the same for each center assignment.
If you love what you are seeing and want to try this resource with your students, but lack the technology, the entire pack can be printed. All the videos have QR codes too.
We are confident you will love this Independent Research as much as we do! To grab this life cycle independent research resource, click here. You can purchase each life cycle individually, or as a discounted bundle.
